Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shevchenko is a Kyrgyzstani and Peruvian Muay Fighter from Thailand as well as mixed martial artist who is currently fighting within the flyweight section of the UFC. She's older than her fellow UFC fighter and Former UFC Flyweight Champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko's professional career in combat sport started in the form of an Muay Thai fighter. Shevchenko debuted on the IFMA World Championship Tournament in 2003. Shevchenko took the title after which she defeated Suzane Mller by unanimous vote. Antonina won a medal of silver in 2007, a medal of bronze in 2008, and a medal gold in 2011. She was also crowned IFMA Amateur World Muaythai Champions in 2016. Antonia began her professional career with her debut in 2003. She was the winner of the WKC K-1 World Championship 2012 for Light Welterweight along with The Lion Fight Lightweight World Championships 2016, and the WMC World Championships and the Phoenix FC World Championships 2016. Antonina's last fight was against Isa Keskikangas of the Phoenix Fighting Championship. She was victorious by an unanimous vote. Antonina shevchenko won her first professional MMA fight in 2002, against Anara bayanova, who was fighting at the KFK Cup in Kyrgystan. She was able to win in the second round of a TKO fight as well as her two bouts in the WXF: X-Impact World Championships in 2003, resulting in her having a record of 3-0. Shevchenko stopped for a few minutes from MMA and focused on her boxing. Shevchenko made her comeback in 2017 when she fought Anissa Diddaoui. Shevchenko won against Anissa by a unanimous vote and she then beat Valerie Domergue at Phoenix FC 4. In 2018, she resigned from the league and started competing in Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina Shevchenko defeated Nievera thanks to her impressive striking ability when she clinched by her knees against her body. Following this victory Antonina received a UFC contract. Antonina made her UFC debut in the TUF Heavy Hhitters Finale, with Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko took the win with a unanimous decision. She lost her second fight with Roxanne Modafferi via split decision. Antonina was able to bounce back from her defeat and defeated Lucie Pudilova by choking her back in a rear-naked submission during the second round of UFC on ESPN Covington Vs. Lawler. She earned her second fight of the evening in this bout. Shevchenko went 2-2 in her subsequent three bouts. She defeated Ariane Lipski, and lost to Katlyn Chokagian and Andrea Lee. Antonina recently lost by TKO, in the 2nd round against Casey O'Neill, at UFC Fight Night Santos Fight Night Santos. Walker.
