Morgan starred as a woman in AIDS prevention and education video Safe Sex for Men and Women. A portion of the profits were given to American Foundation for AIDS Research. Morgan is a member of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan led numerous fund-raising initiatives for the illness and has testified to the Congressional Special Committee about AIDS Education. Morgan is a part of the Board of Governors of APLA, and of Amfar's Board of Directors. C. Everett Koop, the former surgeon general of Canada has requested her to take over his duties for a number of AIDS related events. Additionally she hosted the AIDS Awareness Special alongside Steve Bell. Ted Koppell asked her to appear twice on Nightline with regard to AIDS. Morgan won the Emmy award for Diane English's exclusive Murphy Brown episode that was created specifically for Morgan. Morgan was co-starring on ABC TV's Your Money or Your Wife during the spring season alongside Joan Rivers. Summer began with Murder At The PTA Luncheon. Productions like Von Zerneck/Sertner, also featured Cindy Williams and Marla Gabbs. Morgan's next production took Morgan to Luxembourg to star in Harmony Gold's production of Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady that also featured Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee. Morgan also played in the psychological thriller "The Leading Lady" that was exclusively produced by USA Network. This thriller received the highest reviews of all time for the channel.
